Buzz Scouts LLC ("Buzz Scouts") is committed to delivering high-quality e-commerce services. This Refund Policy explains how we handle refund requests for our services.

1. Scope

This policy applies to services purchased from Buzz Scouts, including SEO retainers, Shopify development, theme development, marketplace management, paid advertising management, graphic design, and any other services billed by Buzz Scouts.

2. Refund eligibility

One-time projects (fixed-fee)

  • Deposits paid before work begins are refundable, less any work completed at the time of cancellation, calculated at our standard hourly rates.
  • Once a project deliverable has been completed and delivered, that portion of the fee is non-refundable.
  • If we are unable to complete a project due to our fault, the remaining unworked portion of fees will be refunded in full.

Monthly retainers

  • Retainer fees are billed at the start of each service month and cover work performed during that month.
  • You may cancel a retainer at any time with 30 days' written notice. The current month's fee is non-refundable, but you will not be billed for subsequent months.
  • Refunds for partial months are not provided, as work is typically front-loaded.

Ad spend

  • Ad spend paid directly to platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.) is governed by those platforms' policies and is not refundable by Buzz Scouts.
  • If you have prepaid ad spend to Buzz Scouts that we have not yet allocated to platforms, that unallocated balance is refundable on request.

3. How to request a refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@buzzscouts.com within 30 days of the relevant invoice date. Include:

  • Your name and company
  • The project or invoice number
  • The reason for the refund request
  • The amount you are requesting refunded

4. Processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

5. Disputes

If you believe a refund has been unfairly denied, you may escalate the matter in writing to info@buzzscouts.com. We will review and respond within 10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or payment processor, please contact us directly. Most issues can be resolved amicably. Unjustified chargebacks may affect our ability to provide future services.
